Hit and Run Crash leaves Pedestrian with Broken Skull
Here's a little twist on the typical crash story:
A 22 year old female pedestrian was injured in the Torrey Pines area Sunday night after she was hit by a bike rider who did not stop. That's right:a hit and run bike accident! The woman was walking her dog at 9:00 p.m. on Carmel Valley Road when she was struck from behind and knocked to the ground, according to San Diego Police detective Dan Wall. News 8 San Diego reports that the victim suffered a double skull fracture. The bicyclist ran the pedestrian down, and did not stop.
