Motorcyclist killed in crash on I-15
KGTV Channel 10 reports that one person was killed and another injured on Tuesday after they were struck by a vehicle early Tuesday on South Interstate 15 in Escondido. The victims were both on a motorcycle traveling south on the I-15 when they hit some debris that was on the road just south of Felicita Road. After hitting the debris, they stopped and got off their bike. They were then struck by a Toyota Prius according to the California Highway Patrol. One motorcycle rider was killed instantly. The other rider was injured with undisclosed injuries and taken to a local hospital.
