Woman Dies in Jacumba Car Crash
A 54 year old woman died in a rollover car crash off Interstate 8 in East County San Diego, near Jacumba. The deceased driver, Martha Lidia Jimenez of Yuma, Arizona, was driving a 2006 Nissan Sentra westbound on Interstate 8 early Saturday morning when she drove off the Freeway, onto Carrizo Gorge Road, where she collided with a Ford-150 truck heading north. No injuries were reported with respect to the Ford 150. Jimenez died at the scene of the accident. Investigators have not determined what caused her to drive off the road.
