Motorcycle riders Seriously Injured after Collision
Two Motorcycles collided Friday night in Scripps Ranch, seriously injuring both riders, reports the San Diego Union Tribune. San Diego Police report that the riders did not know each other. The Police are investigating the cause of the crash.
The accident occurred Friday night on Carroll Canyon Road near Businesspark Avenue. One rider was traveling southbound at an extremely high rate of speed, and lost control of his motorcycle. He slid head on into a Harley Davidson being driven northbound on Carroll Canyon. Both riders were seriously injured. One rider had serious leg and foot injuries; the other had a collapsed lung and lacerated liver. No charges were filed, but Police indicate an investigation is continuing and that charges may be filed at a later date.
