Hit and Run Driver Injuries Pacific Beach Man
As reported in the Union Tribune, a 26 year old man was seriously injured when he was struck by a hit and run driver early Saturday morning. The accident took place in the Pacific Beach area of San Diego. The injured pedestrian was crossing Grand Avenue southbound at Cass Street about 12:30 A.M. The pedestrian was crossing against a red light. He was about 3/4's of the way across the street when a black pickup started into the intersection on a green light and struck the pedestrian. The pickup kept going and did not stop. The pedestrian was hospitalized with a broken pelvis.
