Woman On bicycle Struck And Killed By Car
The North County Times reports that a 50 year old Poway woman died Sunday after being struck by a vehicle. The Times reports that the woman was going north on South Rancho Santa Fe Road near the border of Carlsbad and Encinitas when she lost control of her bike and was struck by a vehicle. She reportedly was attempting to make a left turn onto Calle Barcelona, but hit the median and lost control. She swerved into the fast lane on Rancho Santa Fe Road where she was struck by a Nissan Sentra.
