Former Charger Junior Seau Injured in Car Crash
Former Chargers Linebacker Junior Seau suffered only minor injuries Monday morning after driving his vehicle off a thirty foot cliff and landing on the beach in Carlsbad. Seau was hospitalized overnight, and released on Tuesday. News reports in the San Diego Union and News 8 San Diego indicate that Seau apparently fell asleep at the wheel and drove off the Coast Highway, off a cliff, and onto the beach. Seau's problems were complicated by the fact that the previous night, Seau had been arrested for Felony domestic violence and spent the night in jail. The accident occurred a couple of hours after Seau had been released.
